Our rugelach are individually hand-rolled because someone around here thinks that's a good idea.
Starting with a buttery sour cream and cream cheese pastry, we spread on a rich housemade chocolate filling, roll each one, sprinkle them with turbinado sugar, bake until golden, and finish with a brush of simple syrup. We regret nothing. A perfect weekend tradition!

About our baker
Born and raised in New York and now based in Cleveland, Jess Wachsman has built a career in storytelling—some of it spoken, some of it baked. :-)
For over 20 years, she has worked as a voiceover artist for leading global brands, lending her voice to campaigns heard around the world. Even if you haven’t met her, there’s a good chance you’ve heard her!
But while her career was built around voice, her love of creating took another form. In the kitchen, she began telling stories through dessert.
It began with homemade sweets shared with friends and family, simply for the joy of making them. Then came the requests.
“Can you make that blackberry frosting cake again?”
“I’m still thinking about those cookies.”
“You're making that chocolate babka, right?"
And so...Drizzle and Glaze was born.
Today, Jess creates small-batch desserts inspired by the things she loves most—classic flavors, unexpected combinations, and a love of dessert in all its forms.
